Venetian Mask Marino Grande Donna
Venice is famous for being completely built on the sea, but at the same time it is also known for its carnival.
Our workshop has tried to pay tribute to the city with this creation, which summarizes these characteristics. A papier-mâché face of female features, representing the carnival, skillfully decorated with pastel colours and with the crequelè technique, is framed by a composition made of small pieces of wood and shells, in order to represent the sea.
A simple but time-consuming mask. Wearable mask made of papier-mâché, decorated and assembled entirely by hand by expert decorators according to the most traditional and ancient technique of Venetian Maskmakers. Mask with “100% Made in Italy Certification”.
