Venetian Mask Piuma volto "Eyes wide shut style"

Wearable, full-face mask, with a stucco decoration and the application of gold leaf. One of the most classic and well-known masks; in fact, already in ‘400 it was the most produced mask – after the simple Colombina – by the “maskmakers” of the time.

Because of its complexity and long manufacturing time, it was a mask intended only for the wealthiest ladies. The feathers are selected and glued one by one taking care of colour and length to make the whole as homogeneous and flamboyance as possible.

Handmade wearable mask in papier-mâché, decorated entirely by hand by expert decorators according to the most traditional and ancient technique of Venetian Maskmakers. They use only and exclusively feathers with certificate of conformity and medical certificate of sterilization (EC 1069/2009) for the production of these masks . Mask with 100% Made in Italy Certification.
