Venetian Mask Feathered Toucan in papier mache
Wearable, feathered mask, which takes as reference the nose of the Plague Doctor mask but is reinterpreted giving it shape of the beak and the colours of a toucan. Coloured trimmings and cords, together with bright feathers, give this creation a mix of joyful happiness, making this variation of the classic face with feathers unique and original.
A technically complex mask to make. Because of its complexity and long manufacturing time it was a mask intended only for the wealthiest families. The feathers are selected and glued one by one, taking care of color and length, according to the most traditional and ancient technique of Venetian Maskmakers. For the manufacturing of this mask are used only and exclusively feathers with certificate of conformity and medical certificate of sterilization (EC 1069/2009). Mask with certification “100% made in Italy”.
Our products are unique handmade pieces therefore all the images are indicative, as well as the measurements and colours that may be subject to variations.
